Marshfield Community Centre is a well used and flexible venue set in the centre of our village. It was originally set up to provide a high quality, affordable meeting place for local groups and families in Marshfield and the surrounding villages.
The Large Hall
please be aware that due to covid guidelines being enforced we are now only allowed a max of 30 people in the large hall, seated. this will differ and reduce depending on the use of the hall.
The large hall is ideal for big events such as craft shows, plays & productions, exhibitions, open days, meetings and parties.
It provides a large indoor space which can be turned into an arena for many different occasions.
The dimensions of the hall are 23m by 9m. Which can take seating for up to 220 people. The hall has a high, vaulted ceiling, perfect for stage use or decoration for special occasions.
There is a marked out sports floor which is actively used for sporting events, if you require the space for this use.
The Small Hall
Please be aware that due to Covid guidelines being enforced the number people allowed in the hall will be reduced.
The small hall complements the large hall well and is perfect for smaller events such as children’s parties, local meetings, and smaller sports/yoga clubs.
We also have a built in cinema which can be used, on hiring, for things such as karaoke or films, upon request.
It is 11.5m by 6.5m and has doors opening out onto a small, well maintained, fully enclosed garden with a reasonable outside patio space.
The small hall is directly connected to the kitchen, via large hatch doors which can act a serving area for anything from a bar, to serving food
